NMSPS membership comes in four different flavors: Adult Poet, Young Adult Poet, Youth Poet, and Lifetime Member. Here are the differences:
- Adult Poet: Members 23 and over. $20 dues collected annually.
- Young Adult Poet: Members between 18 and 22. Free until you turn 23.
- Youth Poet: Members 17 and under. Free. At 18, you become a Young Adult Poet.
- Lifetime Member: For anyone who wants to be an NMSPS member for life! $300 one-time dues.
Below, select the membership type that fits you best.
New Sign-ups: Once you have made your choice, you will be taken to the checkout page where you will choose your username*, provide contact information, select a chapter, and indicate your payment method.
*Please do not use your email address as your username. Choose a username without capitalizations or spaces, something like “apoet” (for Anita Poet) or “mmouse” (for Mickey Mouse).
Your email address will be needed to create your account, so enter the one you check most often. If you have any questions about this, please contact webmaster@nmpoetry.com.
Renewing Members: Make sure you are logged in with your NMSPS username and password, then select your member type (probably “Adult Poet”) and click on “Select” or “Renew” (whichever appears to you). This will take you to a page where you can pay your dues.
